Here's some ways to boost your productivity while blogging. For those who want to post to our blog via mobile device, Blogger tips are here. Our blog authors
may also post using Email. Just ask for the address when you sign-up.
If you frequently use mobile devices to access our blog, we suggest you consider using the new Blogger Interface as your default setting because of the seamless transition from desktop to mobile. You can now see the upcoming features the next time you Log in. The new Blogger interface features are comparable to recent changes to the look of Google Sites (here), and you also get easy-to-see Stats. If you encounter any bugs, you might like to activate Google Feedback (How to Use here).
When you choose the new interface as your default, Google Scribe is available to you in Blogger. You can find it on toolbar (below), and for more information about text suggestions, go here (Aug 9, 2011). All blog members ("authors" posting content) using the new interface will see Blogger's new Post Editor, and will select icons from a toolbar like the one shown below. For convenience, we've linked it to Blogger Help.
The icons represent (left to right)
- Add or remove link
- Insert image
- Insert a video
- Insert jump break
- Numbered list
- Bullet list
- Remove formatting
- Check spelling
- Show text completion suggestions while typing (Cntrl + J)
Note: The upgraded Blogger interface looks different. Read about it here.
